  [S927] Obituary. Gilbert Estadt's obituary appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on April 14, 1972. CALDWELL -- Gilbert Thomas Estadt, 63, of route 4, died at 1:15 a.m. Thursday at his home following a long illness. Born April 18, 1908 in Noble County, he was a son of Andrew and Elizabeth Hupp Estadt. He was a farmer and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fulda. Surviving are his widow, Marie Hupp Estadt; four sons, Vernon and Reuben both of Caldwell, Gerald of Quaker City and Carlos of Marietta; one daughter, Mrs. Vera Meadows of Colorado Springs, Colo; one brother Albert of Ashland; two sisters, Miss Cecelia Estadt of Ashland and Mrs. Elmer (Sophia) Miller of Caldwell; nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Walter E. Heinz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call anytime today at the Estadt Funeral Home where Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today.
