  [S927] Obituary. Veronica Gayda, 92, was welcomed into heaven on August 12, 2020 by her husband, Walt, and son Walter. A private immediate family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2020 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Msgr. Thomas Richter as celebrant. Private interment will follow at St. Patrick?s Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Veronica, born on September 20, 1927 to Frances (Wock) and Nick Kuntz, was a loving, caring, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, friend and volunteer whose faith was unerring. She spent her life in service to people. She was loved and will be missed by her children, Audrey (Gordon) McLeod, Verneice (Wayne) Wolberg, Marilyn (Michael) Loscheider, Corliss Swain, Ruth (Gerard) Berger, Gerard (Danette) Gayda, Janel (Curtis) Kolar; Christine (Justin) Kruger, and Karen (Eric) Feagler; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; sister, Adaline Hushka; brother, Stanley (Tillie) Kuntz; sister-in-law, Gail Kuntz; as well as all of her extended family and friends. A special thank you to the staff and residents at St. Luke?s Home who cared for her as though she was family.
