Helen Marie Estep
TORONTO - Helen Marie Estep, age 91, of Toronto, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. Born April 23, 1913 in Neffs, Ohio, she is a daughter of the late Joseph and Juliana (Macksyn) Ko- lodziej. She is a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto; the Dyer Country Club Women's As- sociation; the St. Francis Catholic Women's Club; and she was retired from the former St. John's Hospital in Steubenville as a central supply clerk. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester G. Estep whom she married Oct. 1, 1938 and who passed away on May 1, 2001; two brothers, Walter and Stan- ley Kolodziej; and a sister, Josephine Shinsky. Her survivors include a son, Charles Estep and his wife Marcella of Pittsfield, Mass; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Crawford of Rogers, Ohio, Mrs. Janet Olesky and her husband John, and Mrs. Mary Ann Huff and her husband Da- vid both of Toronto; two sis- ters, Mrs. Julia Schuetzner of Morgantown, W.Va. and Mrs. Ceil Barnett and her husband Jack of St. Peters- burg, Fla.; seven grandchil- dren; and one step-great-grandson. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, June 1, from 5-8 p.m. at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto (740) 537-1234 or (800) 588-1446. A vigil service will eb held at 7 p.m. Additional calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 2, at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, 412 Find- ley St., Toronto from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Kurt Kemo as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. Memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to St. Francis Central School, 601 Findley St., Toronto, OH 43964.
