Obituary for Dorothy Marie Ferstler Dorothy Marie Ferstler, 87, of Apex, died on May 16, 2016. Mrs. Ferstler was born in Queens, NY on August 28, 1928 to Christian and Maria Rasmussen. Mrs. Ferstler is survived by her children: Donald Ferstler, Dennis Ferstler and wife Julie, Deborah Berte and husband Stephen Jr., and David Ferstler and wife Lisa. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Donald Ferstler II and wife Beth, Michael Ferstler, Francis Ferstler, Matthew Ferstler and wife Melody, Kathryn Ferstler, Thomas Ferstler, Nicole Berte Lourenco and husband Alan, Stephen Berte III and wife Kristina, David Ferstler Jr., Christian Ferstler, and Justin Ferstler; great grandchildren: Trey, Logan, Ashley, Aidan, Mia, Stephen IV, Dominic, Jakob, and Grayson.
