Comments: My cousins told me about this site and I would like to update it like they did. My grandfather was Joseph Merritt Schantz married to Mary Frances Doherty Schantz. My father, Joseph Merritt Schantz (boen December 3' 1917 in Rochester, N.Y.)is married to my mother, Edith Victoria McGovern Schantz (born October 28, 1918 - Toronto, Canada), and they are still alive. They had four children, all living Patricia Marie Schantz Smith (January 27' 1943 -) Michael Paul Schantz (b May 1, 1948) Brian Joseph Schantz (b. March 25' 1951) Jo-Ann Alice Schantz Furlong (b.
