Marion E. Deku
TORONTO, Ohio ? Marion E. Deku, 69, of Toronto passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit, Trinity Medical Center East, Steubenville.
She was born July 23, 1936 in Toronto.
Marion is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. She is also a member of the Daughters of America and enjoyed bowling.
Her father, Clifford Anderson, preceded her in death.
Marion is survived by her husband, Robert D. Deku of the home whom she married Jan. 7, 1956, recently celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. She is also survived by her mother, Irene Leffler Anderson of Toronto; son, Paul C. Deku of Ft. Mitchell, Ky.; two daughters, Leeann Pyles and husband Darryl of Bermen, Ohio and Margaret L. Deku of the home; two sisters, Marcia Swartzmiller and husband Jerry of Wellsville, Ohio and Carol Brand and husband Orvis of Toronto; and a granddaughter, Jessica Paterson and husband Ben of Columbus, Ohio.
Friends and family will gather for visitation today from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto with a Vigil service at 8:30 p.m. (740- 537-1234/800-588-1446)
A Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, at the funeral home followed by Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church with celebrant Monsignor Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial will follow at the Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
