She was the widow of Charles Stanley Hesler who died in 1995. She was born in Lewis County on September 27, 1911, to the late Hiram and Dora Stamm McCleese. Surviving are one daughter, Virginia Askren of Cincinnati; one stepdaugher, Mary Hesler of Highland Heights; three stepsons, Stanley Hesler, Elmer Hesler, and Gene Hesler, all of Mason County; and 15 grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Fred McCleese of Crestline, Ohio, and Jess McCleese of Dover; and two sisters, Frances Frodge of Maysville, and Icie Cooper of Mount Olivet. Preceding her in death were one son, Gordon Parker; and two brothers, Wilfred and Wilbur McCleese; and one sister, Elsie Little. Burial will be in Washington Baptist Cemetery.
