According to his family, ?He will be lovingly remembered as husband, father, and grandfather. His life touched many others as brother, uncle, veteran, businessman, coach, and friend. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor and his kind and generous heart. He is the finest man we have ever known and we will miss him very much.? Memorial service was held Friday, March 19 at Elk River United Methodist Church. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Dare?s Funeral Home. Mr. Rehnke is survived by Gerry, his wife of 49 years; sisters, Virginia and Doris; sons, Gary, Greg and Jay; daughter, Diane; and 10 grandchildren.
