Earl E. Betts, 80, of 33878 Betts Road, Jerusalem, Ohio, in Monroe
County, died March 9, 1992, in Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio. He was born November 29, 1911, near Calais, Ohio.
He was a retired employee of Timken Roller Bearing, Canton, Ohio, and a member of the Church of Christ of Boston, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Wehr Betts; three sons, Richard Lewis of Malaga, Ohio, Robert Allen and Kenneth Edward, both of Jerusalem; two daughters, Eva Jean Sampson of Belmont, Ohio and Sheryl Ann Pierce of
Jerusalem; a brother, Robert W. of Quaker City, Ohio; three sisters, Josie Leach of Barnesville, Juanita Neuhart of Barnesville and Florence Starr of Fairview; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Saloma (Sally) Christman Betts and a brother, Benjamin.
Friends were received March 10 at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville where services were held at 2 p.m. on March 11, 1992. Officiating was Evangelist James Gallagher. Interment was in Calais Cemetery, Calais, Ohio.
