Forrest T. Worman
NEW HARMONY ? Forrest T. Worman, 90, of New Harmony, formerly of Stewartsville, Ind., died at 8:25 a.m. Thurs- day, January 22, 2004, at New Harmonie Healthcare in New Harmony, Ind.
Forrest was a retired farmer and a member of the Stewartsville United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Stewartsville Order of Odd Fellows and a former Trustee of Bethsaida Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Creek Worman, Sept. 30, 1995, and his parents, Claude and Elizabeth Thacker Worman.
He is survived by a son, Robert W. "Bob" Worman of Evansville, Ind.; three daughters and their husbands, Judy and Robert York of Enfield, Ill., Betty and Don Gibbs of New Harmony, Ind., and Vicki and Ted Williams of Olney, Ill.; a brother and his wife, William A. and Mary Worman of Cadiz, Ky.; a sister and her husband, Vangie and McCoy Phillips of Evansville, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Worman of Evansville; brother-in-law, Elmer Walthers of Evansville; six grandchildren, Shawn Worman and Terry Gibbs, both of New Harmony, Shannon Worman of Pensacola, Fla., Tammy Gish of Poseyville, Ind., and Roberta Biggs of Paducah, Ky.; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004, at Werry Funeral Home, New Harmony Chapel, with the Rev. William Ping officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery, Stewartsville, Ind.
Visitation will be today January 23, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until service time at Werry Funeral Home, New Harmony Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stewartsville United Methodist Church.
