SEBASTIAN RINK
NECROLOGY
Sebastian (better known as Boston or Jim) Rink, 79, died Thursday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John L. Steele, in Goshen, following a lingering illness. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rink, now deceased, who were pioneer residents of this neighborhood. He was born on the Rink homestead just north of Millersburg, Feb. 7, 1850. When he grew to manhood he was married to Josephine Massey a daughter of John Massey, Benton township pioneer mill operator. Mrs. Rink preceded him in death 30 years ago.
They located on a farm in Benton township, where Mrs. Rink died. Before leaving the farm he remarried and about 10 years ago he and his wife and daughter moved to Goshen. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Milford.
Surviving are his wife and daughter, two brothers, William F. and Michael B. of Millersburg and numerous other relatives. The funeral service was held at the home also at the Reformed Church in Millersburg Sunday and burial was made in Brown's Cemetery.
