ACOB B. RINK
OBITUARY: Jacob B. Rink, son of Geo Rink, was found dead in bed at his home north of Millersburg between 6 and 7 o'clock Saturday morning. Death resulted from heart failure. He had been ailing for over two years but his condition was at no time considered dangerous. His sudden demise came as a sudden shock to his relatives and friends.
Deceased was born in Noble county in 1847 and when quite young removed with his parents to Elkhart county where he resided until death. In 1875 deceased was united in marriage to Sarah E.Chiddister, who still survives him. Fourteen children were born to this union, eleven of whom
are living, five boys, viz: Frank, David, Jacob, George and Samuel: and six girls, Mrs. George Bowman, Mrs. Ed Taylor, Mrs. Logan Chrisman, Misses Eva, Blanche and Lela. Two brothers, George and Anthony, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Moslander and Mrs. Cass Swinehart, also survive him.
The funeral was held from the Lutheran church Monday afternoon, Rev. John Lehman officiating. Burial in Brown's cemetery.
