  [S927] Obituary. Obituary for Margaret Sue (Rieber) Blaxton Margaret Sue (Rieber) Blaxton, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Heritage Center. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 2, 1928 to William P. and Veronica M. (Rupp) Rieber. Margaret graduated from Reitz Memorial in 1946. She worked at DeJong's North Park, Bankers Life & Casualty Insurance Company, the Vanderburgh Auditorium and as a school crossing guard. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church where she was active with the ladies choir and the past president of the PTA. Margaret was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and active in the Friday Nite Dance Club, Central Turner's and she volunteered at the American Red Cross. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Jean M. (Alan) Adams of Evansville, IN; sons, Gus Blaxton of Newburgh, IN, Steve Blaxton of Evansville, IN, and Bill (Jill) Blaxton of Cincinnati, OH, granddaughters, Sierra M. Adams and Hailey Blaxton; step-granddaughters, Erin Bayne and Tasha Adams; and a great-grandson, Levi Adams. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Joseph Theodore Blaxton; and brothers, Donald Rieber and Robert Rieber. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 West Mill Road, Evansville, IN 47710.
