  [S927] Obituary. Evansville Courier & Press [Evansville, Ind] 31 Mar 2003: B4. Helen Marie Gregg Helen Marie Gregg, 100, of Evansville, Indiana, died March 30, 2003, at Holiday Health Care. Helen and her husband owned and operated 222 Tavern during the '50s and '60s. She was a volunteer foster grandmother at St. Vincent's Day Care from 1965-1977. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and a member of their Women's Sunday school class. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Gregg, in 1963. Helen is survived by sister, Sadie Bradshaw, Evansville, Ind.; a niece who cared for her, Marilyn Dever of Evansville, Ind.; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Goldie Kellams at Visiting Nurse Association. Services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Reverend Will Jewsbury. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Alexander North Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice or Bethany Christian Church.
