Birth: 1846 Kentucky, USA Death: 1897 Olney Richland County Illinois, USA At his home on Walnut St, Weds morning, Mr. Phillip Zimmerly passed to the great unknown, from the dreaded disease, consumption. The deceased was born in KY, 51 years ago, but has been a resident of this city (Olney) for many years. The deceased has been in the employment of the B & O railroad as a bridge carpenter. He came home some weeks since, and rapidly grew worse until the end. He enjoyed the respect and confidence of his employers and had a large circle of friends. He leaves 2 brothers, William, day operator at the B & O; Fred of Decatur and Mrs. Hunter of this city (Olney). The funeral ceremony will be conducted this afternoon from the Evangelical church, by the pastor. 1st wife----Phillip was married to Kate Schue on October 10, 1871 in Richland County Family links: Parents: George P.
