  [S927] Obituary. Nieten, Gerald D. November 24, 2007 Gerald D. Nieten 89, of Noblesville, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2007. He was born January 7, 1918 in Indianapolis to the late Henry J. and Grace Garner Nieten. He was married to his wife of 57 years, Emily Ann Miles Nieten, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, and sons Jerry G. (Sheila), Peggy Ann (Thomas) Gaunt, Donald H. (Tammy), and David E. Nieten. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. Gerald was a World War II veteran of the US Army having served in the European Theater. He retired in 1982 after 30 years of service as print manager for Miles Press. He was the Scout Master for Troup 421. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, and Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center ? Lawrence. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association.
