Agatha Uhl, 77, of Bradford, died Friday at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was the former Agatha Buechler and the widow of Clem Uhl. She was a former postal employee at the Bradford Post Office, a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, St. Ann Society, the parish serving group, the Sacristan at the church and the Liturgy committee. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann McElroy of Cary, Ill., and Sharon Newton of Floyds Knobs; two stepsons, Charles Uhl of Terre Haute and Bernard Uhl of Floyds Knobs; two stepdaughters, Mary Lipps of Floyds Knobs and Lorraine Martin of New Salisbury; three brothers, John Buechler of Bradford, Herman Buechler of Floyds Knobs and Andrew Buechler of New Salisbury; three sisters, Geneva Smith of Starlight, Juanita Smith of Floyds Knobs and Valeria Daus of Louisville; 2 grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; and 34 step-great-grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 10:30 a.m. today at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
