Funeral services for B.J. Gettelfinger, 64, of Palmyra, were held at 11 a.m. today, Monday, May 31, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford. He died Friday, May 28, 1999, at his residence. He was a retired employee of Navistar International in Indianapolis, an Army veteran and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Phyllis A. Senn; sons, Jeff and Roger Gettelfinger; daughters, Brenda Beach, Jeanie Wagner and Judy Rae Waggoner; brothers, George and Cletis Gettelfinger; sisters, Rita Weiser, Loretta Robertson, Sister Mary Andre, Martha Oaks and Margaret Baylor; and eight grandchildren. Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey handled arrangements.

B. J. Gettelfinger, 64, died Friday, at his home. He was a native of Palmyra, an Army veteran, a retired employee of Navastar International in Indianapolis and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford. Survivors include his wife, the former Phyllis A. Senn; two sons, Jeff Gettelfinger of San Antonio, Texas, and Roger L. Gettelfinger of Ramsey; three daughters, Brenda Beach of Pekin, Jeanie Wagner of Ramsey and Judy Rae Waggoner of Greenville; two brothers, George W. and Cletis H. Gettelfinger; five sisters, Rita Weiser of Hermann, Mo., Loretta Robertson of English, Sister Mary Andre of Ferdinand, Martha Oaks of Milltown and Margaret Baylor; and eight grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow at the church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. tomorrow at Swarens Funeral Home.

He was a retired employee of Navastar International in Indianapolis, an Army veteran and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford. Survivors include his wife, the former Phyllis A. Senn; two sons, Jeff Gettelfinger of San Antonio, Texas, and Roger L. Gettelfinger of Ramsey; three daughters, Brenda Beach of Pekin, Jeanie Wagner of Ramsey and Judy Rae Waggoner of Greenville; two brothers, George W. Gettelfinger and Cletis H. The funeral was Monday, May 31, at St. Michael's Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Most Rev. Gerald A. Gettelfinger and Fr. Bonaventure Knaebel officiated. Organist was Kathleen Kruer. Honorary pallbearers were Frank X. Senn and George W. and Cletis H. Gettelfinger. Active pallbearers were Jim Wise, Jim Nally, Carl Wagner, Tony Phillips, Albert McCowley and Charles Underwood. Swarens Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
