Judy Kay Wibbels, 60, Corydon, died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Feb. 4, 1947, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester A. and Eulah Wolfe Hess.
She was a 1965 graduate of Lanesville High School and a graduate of St. Anthony School of Nursing, a retired registered nurse at Floyd Memorial Hospital and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric Wibbels.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Wibbels; a son, Thomas Wibbels of Corydon; four brothers, Bill and Orman Hess, both of New Albany, Jerry Hess of Corydon and Jay Dean Hess of Palmyra; a sister, Mary Ann Hess of Jeffersonville; and a grandchild.
Visitation: Saturday, May 19, from 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Monday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Prayer service: Sunday, May 20, 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral: Monday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
Celebrant: Father Harold Ripperger.
