Surviving are his wife, Rosemary; four daughters, Mary Ann Kempf, Phyllis Willis, Margie Gilmore and Carolyn Reckelhoff; a son, Mike; two sisters, Emma Wilmes and Henrietta Buechler; a brother, Bernard; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services 10 a.m. EST Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, burial in the church cemetery, with military rites. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, and from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
