She was born August 18, 1917 in Borden, IN, and lived in this community since 1927 She retired from Delco Remy after 20 yrs. of service She was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ in Anderson She is survived by her daughter, Beverly & husband, Jack Hamilton of Anderson, granddaughter, Debbie & husband, Bruce Mayo of Indianapolis, grandsons, Joshua Mayo & Jonathon Mayo, both of Indianapolis, several nieces and nepphews, and special friends, Ruth McConnell and Lora Oliver She was preceded in death by her husband, of 50 yrs, Ralph E. Smith, parents, Loren & Mabel (Richard) Temple, five sisters; and two brothers Services will be Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 10:00 AM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Bruce Mayo and David Cordry officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson .
