Norman Huffine, 81, died Tuesday, January 02, 2007 at Woodview Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Evansville, IN, he was a Manager of Supply and Inventory with International Harvester retiring in 1983. He was a US Navy WW II veteran and a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He was also a member of Three Rivers Lodge #733 F & AM, American Legion Post #47, Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne and the Mizpah Shrine and was a past President of the Navistar Retirees. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; son, Scott Huffine; daughter, Kristy Huffine all of Fort Wayne; step-daughters, Deb (Dave) Crooks of Huntertown, Pam (Jeff) Fike of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Tiffany Maurovich, Brittany Huffine; 5 step grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Olivette Lear of Haubstadt, IN; brother, Leroy Huffine of Evansville; preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia in 1994; a granddaughter and a step-grandson; 1 brother and 4 sisters. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Rd. with calling 1 hour prior. Rev. Paul Offhaus and Rev. Carl Satre officiating. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd. Private family graveside service at Concordia Cemetery Gardens with Military Honors by American Legion Post #47. Memorials to Messiah Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
