  [S927] Obituary. Henry Hupp's obituary appeared in The Zanesville (OH) Signal newspaper on April 11, 1931. FULDA RESIDENT CALLED Henry Hupp, 82, well know resident of Enoch township, died Wednesday at his home near Fulda from dropsy. Several children and grandchildren survive. Funeral services were conducted at 9 o'clock this morning at Fulda Catholic church by Rev. Father Mattes and burial made in the church cemetery by Brubach & Dearth, funeral directors of this place in charge. A second, more detailed, obituary appeared in The Zanesville Signal on April 13, 1931. DEATH OF HENRY HUPP Henry Hupp, aged 82, well known farmer, passed away at his home near Fulda, Wednesday morning at *:45 o'clock, death being due to an illness of dropsy. The deceased was a member of the Fulda Catholic church. His wife who was Matilda Michael died several years ago. Surviving are the following children four sons and one daugh- ter Marie Hupp of the home, Otto, Clarence and Joe Hupp of Zanesville, Oscar Hupp of the home. Mr. Hupp was the last member of his family. Funeral services were held from the Church of the Immaculate conception at Fulda, Saturday morning, at 9 o'clock and burial was made in the church cemetery. The archaic medical term "dropsy" means edema, or swelling; often due to heart failure or kidney disease.
