CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY ? 11/21/1951
Martin M. Bush, 75, retired farmer of Spencer Township, died Sunday morning at 8:30 o?clock at his home two miles southwest of Ramsey. Mr. Bush had been ill of a heart ailment for a week. A son of the late John F. and Sarah Goss Bush, he was born in this county. Mr. Bush was a member of St. Bernard?s Catholic Church at Frenchtown. The remains rested at the Swarens and Adam Funeral Home in Ramsey. Requiem Mass was held Tuesday morning at 9:00 o?clock at St. Bernard?s Church, conducted by the Rev. Earl Feltman. Burial was in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Gettelfinger Bush, two daughters and four sons, John Bush and Francis Bush of Ramsey, Charles Bush of Clarksville, Andrew Bush with the U.S. Air Force in Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Margaret Schneid of New Albany and Mrs. Catherine Kirohn of San Diego, Calif. He also leaves sixteen grandchildren and two brothers, Norman and Charles Bush of Louisville. Three sons, Martin Bush, Norman Bush, George Bush and an infant daughter preceded him in death.
