Mrs. William (Zita Bir) Gettelfinger, 59, of Morgan Township, died last Friday night in St. Joseph Infirmary, Louisville, where she had been a patient. Mrs. Gettelfinger had been in failing health for 16 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church at Bradford. The Rosary was recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Kahl Funeral Home at Palmyra. Funeral services were held Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. Burial was in the Church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, three sons, George W. and Cletus H. of Morgan Township, and Benedict, who is in the Army in Texas; seven daughters, Sister Bernadette Andre of Evansville, Margaret and Magglen at home; Miss Martha Gettelfinger and Mrs. Marie Garrison of New Albany; Mrs. Rita Mae Meiser of Herman, Mo., and Mrs. Loretta Robinson of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Cletus Bir of New Albany and Vincent Bir of Cleveland, Ohio; and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Briard of Fremont, Nebr., and Mrs. Agnes Roache and Mrs. Margaret Didelot of New Albany; also 15 grandchildren
