Fessel died Monday night at his home at Bradford. He was seventy-one years of age. The funeral mass will be Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Fessel was widely known throughout this county and adjoining counties. He owned and operated a good farm in Morgan Township. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Fessel, a son and two daughters, George Fessel, Mrs. Joseph Kochert and Mrs. Clifford Schroeder, all of Bradford; and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Ferber of Orleans and Mrs. Anna Bigler of Bradford; seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
