GETTELFINGER ? Mrs. Anna Mary Ems, widow of the late Daniel Gettelfinger, died at St. Joseph Infirmary, Monday, March 12, 1956 at 11 a.m.; age 91 years. Beloved mother of the Rev. F. J. Gettelfinger, New Haven, Ky., the Rt. Rev. Joseph D. Gettelfinger, Lebanon, Ky., Raymond P. and Gerald A. Gettelfinger, and Mrs. Ursula Shidler, Mrs. Agnes Sieg, of Ramsey, Ind. and Mrs. Loretta Ebel, of Louisville, Ky.; 2 children Freddie and Nettie C. preceded her in death; sister of Jacob Ems, Sr., New Salisbury, Ind.; survived also by 37 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Rosary at the Swaren's Funeral Home at Ramsey, Ind. Tuesday March 13, 7 p.m. Rosary and prayers at family residence Wednesday, March 14, 7:30 p.m. Solemn Funeral Mass St. Bernard's Church, Frenchtown, Ind., Thursday, March 15, 10 a.m. Interment in church cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Gettelfinger, Ramsey, Ind., died at 11:05 a.m. yesterday in St. Joseph Infirmary. She was 91. She was the mother of Monsignor Joseph Gettelfinger, Lebanon, Ky., and the Rev. Fred Gettelfinger, New Haven, Ky. Two other sons and two daughters, all of Ramsey, also survive. Her husband, the late Daniel Gettelfinger, was a Ramsey farmer. The body will be returned to Ramsey for the funeral and burial.

Mrs. Anna Mary Ems Gettelfinger, 91, widow of Daniel Gettelfinger, died Monday at 11 a.m. after an illness in St. Joseph's Infirmary in Louisville. She was a native of Central Barren, and was a life-long resident of Harrison County. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Frenchtown and of St. Rita's Altar Society. Surviving are four sons, the Rev. F. J. Gettelfinger, pastor of St. Catherine's Church in New Haven, Ky., the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph D. Gettelfinger, pastor of St. Augustine's Church in Lebanon, Ky., and Raymond P. and Gerald A. Gettelfinger, Ramsey; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Shidler and Mrs. Edward G. Sieg, Ramsey, and Mrs. Lorena Ebel, Louisville. Others are 37 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and a brother, Jacob Ems Sr., New Salisbury. The Rosary will be recited at the Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey Tuesday at 7 p.m. and in the residence Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Solemn Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard's Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph D. Gettelfinger, as deacon, and the Rev. Donald Fisher as subdeacon, Thursday at 10 a.m. burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Mary Ems Gettelfinger, 91, widow of David Gettelfinger, died at St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock. A daughter of Frederick and Angela Sears Ems, she was born near Central Barren. Mrs. Gettelfinger was a life long member of the Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Rita's Altar Society of St. Bernard's Church at Frenchtown. The Rosary was recited at Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey, Tuesday evening. The body is being moved to the family residence Wednesday morning where the Rosary is being recited at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday evening. The Solemn Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. F. J. Gettelfinger, assisted by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph D. Gettelfinger as deacon and Rev. Donald Fisher, a grand nephew as subdeacon. Rev. Earl Feltman, pastor of St. Bernard's Church, will preach the funeral sermon. Gerald A. Gettelfinger, Jr., of the Major Seminary at St. Meinrad, a grandson, will be Master of Ceremonies. The Requiem Mass will be sung by the Priest's Choir from Louisville under the direction of Rev. Joseph Emmerich. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gettelfinger is survived by four sons, Rev. F. J. Gettelfinger, pastor of St. Catherine's Church, New Haven, Ky., Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph D. Gettelfinger, pastor St. Augustine Church, Lebanon, Ky., Raymond P. and Gerald A. Gettelfinger; three daughters, Mrs. (Ursula) Shidler and Mrs. Edward G. (Agnes) Sieg, all of Ramsey and Mrs. Lorena Ebel of Louisville, Ky. Two children, Freddie and Nettie C., preceded her in death. She also leaves a brother, Jacob Ems, Sr., New Salisbury, 37 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
