Falk Jr., 95, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Monday, May 25, 2009, at the Autumn Woods Health Campus, New Albany. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired vice-president of operations for the Indiana Gas Company and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of the New Albany Lions Club since 1941, was the fourth Eagle Scout in the city of New Albany, past president of the Floyd Memorial Hospital Board and was a member of St. Marks United Church of Christ. Survivors include a niece, Judy Paris of Carmel and her children, Rebecca and Meredith Parish and John Paris IV; and many friends who cared for him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn S. Falk; and his parents, William E. Sr. and Mae Falk. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Boy Scouts of America.
