  [S927] Obituary. Huntington Herald-Press Sunday, October 16, 1988 Ruth Horn ___ ____ Ruth R. Horn, 90, died at 11:05 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 13, 1988) at Miller? Merry Manor. Mrs. Horn was a former resident of Marion, Andrews and Fort Wayne before moving into the manor. She was a member of the First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne. She was born Oct 26, 1897 in Huntington to Thomas J. and Caroline Urschel Parker. Her first marriage was to Burel Hoke, who died in 1951; her second marriage was to Lawrence Horn who died in 1967. Surviving are a step daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Margaret) Snyder, New Port Richey, FL; a step-son, James Horn of Arkansas. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deal & Robbins Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Lamar Imes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
