James D, Schlink Sr., 60, native of Indiana and a Mandera resident for the past five years, died Friday, Aug 18, in British Columbia, Canada.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, fourth degree, member of the Elks Lodge and the Fig Garden Golf and Country Club.
Mr. Schlink is survived by his wife Maxine Schlink of Mandera; three sons, James Schlink Jr. of Indiana, Joseph Schlink of Michigan and Austin Schlink of Ohio; two brothers, Paul of Schlink of Arizona and Eugene Schlink of Indiana; one sister, Florence Schlink of Ohio; five grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday in Jay Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joachim's Catholic Church followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
