  [S927] Obituary. Esther E. Robertson Esther E. Robertson, 84, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Pine Haven Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 26, 1924, in Posey County, Indiana. Esther was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. She was a 1946 graduate of Deaconess School of Nursing. Esther was a housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Robertson; parents, Emil and Lydia (Dausmann) Noelle; brother, Arthur Noelle; and sister, Edna Morton. Esther is survived by her son, Rick Robertson (Debbie) of Evansville; sister, Marie Taylor of Evansville; brother, Edward Noelle (Betty) of Evansville; three grandchildren, Jeff Robertson of Evansville, Eric Robertson (Lotte) of Fishers, Ind., and Jamie Henderlong (Mitch) of Evansville; and great-grandchildren, Jakob and Sarah Robertson. Thank you to the staff of Pinehaven Nursing Home and Deaconess Hospice for their care and compassion. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Thomas Wenig, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1811 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.
