Note: "In the year 1870 my 4th child was born into the world on Wednesday the 3rd of August in the morning at 9 o'clock and was baptized Elizabeth. Godparents were Joseph Schlegel and Elizabeth Grass."Elizabeth Karnet was living in Indianapolis in 1927.From the Indianapolis Star: "Mrs. Elizabeth M. Cornet, widow of Louis P. Cornet, died yesterday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emmett R. Thomas, 6117 Indianaola Avenue. A native of Celestine (Dubois County), she came to Indianapolis in 1898. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and of the Altar Society. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in Christ the King Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, John P. Cornet of Indianapolis and Leo N. Cornet of Los Angeles' three daughters, Mrs. E. R. Thomas, Mrs. John Naughton and Mrs. A. D. Schaefer, all of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren."
