Surviving are 4 sons, Louis Seng and his wife Linda John Seng Kenneth Seng and his wife Cindy Allen Seng and his wife Jane all of Jasper. 10 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren Preceding her in death besides her husband are 1 sister, Anita Eckstein and 3 brothers, Urban, Leo & Linus Mehringer. Eleanor worked at the Jasper Glove Manfacturing Company and the Jasper City Bakery until her husband returned home from service during WWII. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality and the V.F.W. Auxiliary to Post # 673 in Jasper. Funeral services for Eleanor Seng will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (September 28, 2009) in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Jasper. Friends may call from Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday (September 27, 2009) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Rosary will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday by the Blessed Virgin Sodality, memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Sunday by the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
