Credit Corp at Detroit, has been promoted to operations manager of the Detroit metropolitan division. Mr. Alles was in the Army during World War II. Entering as a private, he was discharged as a captain and is now a major in the Army Reserves." Hilary Alles lived in Detroit before moving to Smithtown, NY. From the Herald, Wed., Jan. 17, 2007: " Hilary Frederick Alles, 91, of Escondido, Calif., formerly of Solano Beach, Calif., died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, in California. He was born at Jasper Aug. 15, 1915, to Jacob and Anna (Rasche) Alles. His wife, Barbara Alles, died in 1994. Surviving are a son, Rick Alles, Escondido; two brothers, Norb and Jerome (Chick) Alles, Jasper; and two grandchildren. Mr. Alles was a loan specialist at a bank for 33 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served in the European Theater. He was an avid golfer. Private family services are planned in California.
