Can't locate him and family in 1900 or 1892 Bklyn NY census. Has to be a problem with the last name (transcription). In checking NY birth/christening records (1640-1962) on familysearch.org, I found a John Sarter and Barbara Mueller who had two kids: George on Sep 7, 1885 and Elsa on Jul 9, 1891 Record for George reads: birth: 07 Sep 1885 -Brooklyn, Kings, New York residence: 1885 -Nyor, Newyork parents: John Sarter, Barbara Muller Sarter Record for Elsa reads: birth: 09 Jul 1891 -Brooklyn, Kings, New York residence: 1891 -Nyor, Newyork parents: John Sarter, Babetta Mueller Sarter Then, I located a marriage record in the Italian Gen. Group: (notice the surname differences: Miller Barbara Nov 23 1879 Kings 2858 Santor John Nov 23 1879 Kings 2858 I located both of them, married in 1880 NY census. Think these could be the same people? Wish I could locate them in 1900 to see if there is a relationship to the other kids you have listed, I then located John's will in NY Kings County estate files (familysearch) https://www.familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-15161-12045-92?cc=1466356&wc=7902687 (this is page 2).Barbara and all the children that you have are listed (living at 126 Hendrix St, Bklyn). Interesting to note that at the time, Katie was married to Unk. Jung (living at 108 Prospect Av). Could not locate a marriage record for her. With that, I went to the death records on Ital. Gen. group and found only one John Sarter and only one Barbara Sarter Sarter John 61 y Jul 8 1914 13635 Kings Sarter Barbara 82 y Nov 24 1937 23642 Kings
