Dale Wagemann Birth: Oct. 10, 1937 McIntosh County North Dakota, USA Death: Jul. 23, 2006 Aberdeen Brown County South Dakota, USA Dale Wagemann was born on October 10, 1937 in McIntosh County, ND to August and Martha (Heupel) Wagemann. They lived on a farm near Forman, ND until moving to a farm East of Leola in 1947 where he attended country school. Dale married Barbara Kenny on October 18, 1959 at Leola, SD. They lived in Aberdeen where he worked for Gage Brothers Concrete. They later lived on farms near Leola and Hecla, SD. Dale took a job in Rapid City, SD working construction for the missile sites. They moved back to Aberdeen where Dale began working with his brothers hauling milk. Later his brothers sold Dale the business and he named it Dale Wagemann Trucking. He hauled milk for Cass Clay Creamery for nearly 20 years. Dale had to retire for health reasons but later held various jobs. Dale died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital. Dale was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was a past usher and also drove the church bus. Dale was a past member of the Moose Lodge. Dale liked pheasant and deer hunting and also fishing. He liked watching poker on TV and loved following the Minnesota Vikings. Dale also liked to bowl and play pinochle. He loved shaking dice with his family and telling stories to the grandchildren. Grateful for having share Dale's life are his wife, Barbara Wagemann, Aberdeen, six children, Wesley (Patty) Wagemann, Bozeman, MT, Jesse (Belinda) Wagemann, Aberdeen, SD, Janet (Kenny) Wipf, Bowdle, SD, Sherie (Chip) Chapin, Portland, OR, Sherwin Wagemann, Aberdeen, Chad (Sheila Heinz) Wagemann, Aberdeen, two brothers, Walter (Shirley) Wagemann, Aberdeen, Darwin (Dodie) Wagemann, Albuquerque, NM, ten grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Travis, Ryan, Nicole, Brock, Bradi, Austin, Amber and April, and six great grandchildren, Damion, Solena, Jasmine, Brianna, Baby Wagemann, and Baby Locke.
