Paul Atkinson officiating. Garber Co. for 30 years and also farmed.Darel was a member of the Ashland Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 2178.He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bott Denney, to whom he was married April 5, 1953; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cheri Denney of Mansfield, and Diann and Kevin Gaysunas of Granville; three sons and daughters-in-law, James E. and Brenda Denney of Springfield, Larry and Glynis Denney of Jeromesville, and Garry and Theresa Denney of Perrysville; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemary Banks of Mansfield and Theda Zimmerman of Wooster; and a brother, David Denney of Jeromesville.His parents died previously.
