Ruby Hannahs
Ruby Jane Hannahs, 86, Barnesville, Ohio, died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born November 24, 1919, in Monroe County, Ohio, daughter of the late Lester and Myrtle (Stephen) Huntsman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Hannahs (4/25/56); a infant daughter, Shirley Hannahs; three brothers: Francis, Delbert and Roger Huntsman; one sister, Lena Hannahs; and son-in-law Robert Crawford.
She was owner of Ruby's Beauty Shop in Barnesville, Ohio, and a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons: Robert (Judy) Hannahs and Dr. Dan (Becky) Hannahs, both of Barnesville; one daughter, Beverly Crawford of Bethesda, Ohio; two sisters, Melba Swallie and Joan (Francis) Gallagher, both of Barnesville; seven grandchildren: Mike (Jana) Crawford of Bethesda, Mitch (Ellen) Crawford of Columbus, Ohio, Melissa Crawford of Bethesda, Olivia (Sean) Donovan of Westerville, Ohio, Anthony Hannahs of Columbus, Aaron (Angie) Hannahs of Barnesville and Angie (Greg) Bahmer of Barnesville; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday with the service at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio, with Reverend Andrew Woods officiating. Burial follows in Crestview Cemetery.
