Joseph J. Hartman, age 82, of 414 W. Broad St., Louisville, Ohio passed away
at Molly Stark Hospital Tuesday morning, November 14 following an extended illness.
Born in Pennsylvania April 2, 1890, to the late Peter and Rose Cornett Hartman he
lived in the Louisville area for 66 years. He retired from farming in 1954 and was
a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Blanche L. Hartman of the home; five sisters, Mrs.
Mildred Blend and Mrs Bernadette Kiefer both of Canton, Mrs. Minnie Karl of Warren,
Sister Jenevieve (sic) PB of Coldwater, and Sister Mary Magdelen, SOC of Cleveland;
two brothers, Lee Hartman of Louisville and Brother Claude of Michigan.
A Mass of the Resurrection was held Friday at 10 AM in St. Louis Catholic Church
with burial in the Church Cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Thursday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
