Lydia Stoebner (1911-2008)

Lydia Stoebner, of Lodi, CA, age 97, passed away at the Vienna Convalescent Hospital on December 3, 2008. She was born to John and Philippina (Sauter) Graf on November 5, 1911 in Herried, South Dakota.
In 1936 she was married to Adolph Stoebner, and was widowed in 1944 due to a car accident. She was employed as a sales clerk in retail clothing for 73 years, and moved to Lodi in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents; also her brothers: John, Jr., Reuben, Walter, Bennie, and Clayton Graf; and her sisters: Bertha Stewart, Edna Haas, Elsie Coen, Florence Knoll, and Lorraine Smith.
Lydia is survived by a brother, Duane Graf of Navato; three sisters, Irene Melcher of Lodi, Phyllis Harais of Clayton, and Mabel Beyerle of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held on Friday, December 5th in the Garden of the Last Supper at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
