ST. ANTHONY ? Victor A. Ubelhor, 67, of St. Anthony passed away at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Warren Township, Mich., April 9, 1943, to Leo Sr. and Etta Belle (Garland) Ubelhor.
He retired from the Jasper Engines and Transmissions in Jasper, where he worked for many years.
He is a member of NRA and The Dubois County Right to Life.
His hobbies were painting, gardening, target shooting and fishing.
His is survived by his three daughters, Sandy Begle and her husband, Jeff, of Bretzville, Paula Roeder and her husband, Todd, of Maltersville and Angel Nelson and her husband, Scott, of Evansville; two sons, Duane Ubelhor and his spouse, Lynn, of Jasper and Rock Williamson of Plant City, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Betty Gehlhausen of Jasper, Elaine Zehr of Dubois, Judy Jackson of Alabama, Anita Mermoud of Loogootee and Donna Cheveas of Arkansas and one brother, Leo Ubelhor Jr. of Holland.
Preceding him in death were four sisters, Rosetta Hobbs, Lou Guinn, Mildred Brown, Erlene Wurster and one brother, Al Ubelhor.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Christian Church of Jasper. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Church of Jasper or the Dubois County Right to Life.
Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper is in charge of arrangements.
