Rita M. Kelly died Feb. 2 in Indianapolis. She was 74.
Born Sept. 7, 1930, in Evansville, she was a daughter of the late August Ubelhor and Rose Lasher. She was the widow of Donald J. Kelly.
Mrs. Kelly worked 21 years as a sales clerk at ITT Continental Baking Co. before retiring in 1988.
She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Tom Kelly of Danville, Dan and Nula Kelly of Martinsville, Jim and Sue Kelly of Danville, Rick and Joyce Kelly of Avon, and John Kelly of Danville; daughters Donna Kelly and Gina Kelly, both of Indianapolis; brothers Roman Ubelhor of Bristow and Maurice Ubelhor of St. Croix; sisters Olivia Leisner of Murphressboro, Tenn., Jeanette Talbott of St. Croix, Dorothy Pontones of Satellite Beach, Fla., Marlene Oser of Siberia, Sheila Land of Clermont, Fla., Sandra Shea of Tulsa, Okla., Chantelle Ubelhor of Bristow, and Deann Taylor of Evansville; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Chuckie Kelly; a brother, Karl Ubelhor; and sisters Agnes Sisson and the Rev. Mother Katherine OSC.
Services will be noon Feb. 5 at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg. Interment will follow at St. Malachy Cemetery. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 4 at the church.
Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg is handling arrangements.
