Kenneth Gehlhausen, age 85 of Jasper died at 2:25 a.m. Friday (March 4, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born January 16, 1926 at Birdseye, Indiana to Jacob and Rosa (Howe) Gehlhausen. He married Betty Ubelhor on July 16, 1953 at New Albany, Indiana.
Kenneth was a Korean Army Veteran. He was a retired Boilermaker (50 years) out of local 374, Hammond, Indiana.
He is a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church ? Jasper Knight of Columbus ? American Legion Post # 147 in Jasper.

Funeral services for Kenneth Gehlhausen will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (March 8, 2011) in Precious Blood Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. American Legion Post # 147 will conduct Military Grave Side Rites.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.
