Donald L. Ubelhor, 67
Donald L. Ubelhor, 67, of Lafayette, died at 4 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, at his residence.
Born Aug. 3, 1938, to the late Fern Jackson Bower and John J. Ubelhor in Lafayette, he attended Jefferson High School.
His marriage was to Donna M. Simpson on Nov. 16, 1957, in Lafayette, and she survives.
Mr. Ubelhor worked at Peerless Wire Co. for 18 years and at Lafayette Wire Co. for five years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving with his wife are a son, John E. Ubelhor (wife: Cathy) of Minneapolis; three daughters, Maryann Cormany (husband: Ryan) and Donna Sue Smith (husband: Jim), both of Battle Ground, and Katherine Cole (husband: Dean) of Goodland; and three brothers, Robert Ubelhor (wife: Barbara) of Aurora, Ill., David Ubelhor (wife: Karen) and William Ubelhor, all of Lafayette.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., with service there 2 p.m. Tuesday, Pastor Matt White officiating. Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Michael V. Ubelhor on 2-7-2006; a grandson, Jeremy Cormany; and a sister, Betty Lou Culbertson.
