Jeane A. Perlinger, 82, of North Platte and formerly of Paxton, died Monday, October 23, 2017, in the Sutherland Care Center.
Jeane was born August 30, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Jacob and Dorothy (Burger) Aspenleiter. After graduating from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, she completed several college courses and also worked for the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.
Jeane met Edward P. Perlinger in Wisconsin. They relocated to Paxton, Nebr. and were married on January 2, 1960 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They made their home south of Paxton on the family farm. Ed passed away in 1992 and Jeane moved into Paxton in 1993.
In 1995 Jeane moved to North Platte and in 2010 she moved to Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala. She became a resident of Sutherland Care Center in 2013.
Her hobbies included bowling, swimming, and watching sports. Jeane was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Edward, and son Scott.
Survivors include two sons: Randy (Cher) Perlinger of Paxton and Brian Perlinger of North Platte; one daughter: Cheryl (Lyle) Page of Eustis; one brother Jack (Lana) Aspenleiter of North Platte; one sister Joan (Jack) Saichek of Rockford, Ill.;
Three grandsons: Kevin (Ranae) Page of Gothenburg
Trent (Lindsay) Holscher of Ogallala
Caleb Perlinger of Paxton
Three granddaughters: Jessica (Brent) Evans of Ogallala
Kari (Cody) Mohlman of Holdrege
Gabrielle Perlinger of Paxton
Also five great-grandchildren.
The Graveside service will be held Thursday, October 26, at 11:30 a.m. in the Paxton Cemetery. Rev. Bryan Ernest of St. Patrick's Catholic Church will officiate. Memorial Book Signing will be on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Draucker Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established in her name. Online Condolences may be sent by signing the guest book.
