DICKINDSON, N.D. ? The gentle soul of Robert Feiock passed from this earth on Dec. 1, 2010, at St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson.
Robert was born in Mobridge S.D. on Dec 21, 1948 to August and Viola (Remmick) Feiock. He later came to reside in the Roundup, Mont., area, where he attended school.
In 1974, Robert married Laurie Vandyke in Roundup. To this union, two children were born: Robert Feiock Jr. and Heather Ordway.
Robert worked for Henry VanDyke, The Milwaukee Railroad, Stockman Bar of Glasgow and The Lavina Bar. His most treasured job, however, was with Glasgow Public Schools as a bus driver for 17 years.
His free time was spent playing pool, cards, hunting, fishing, Demo Derbying and tinkering with cars.
Robert was a very social person and always had a cup of coffee and a good story to share. He also had a good ear. His family and friends were the most important things to him.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, August Feiock; and his brother, Leroy Remmick. He is survived by his mother, Viola Feiock of Roundup; his children, Robert (Ellie) Feiock of Glendive, Mont., and Heather (Robert) Ordway of Glasgow, Mont.; his grandchildren, Brook Feiock of Glasgow and Jessie Foster of Lewistown; his step-grandchildren, Barbara Grizey of Glendive and Star Ordway of Glasgow. Brothers are Richard (Doris) Feiock of Glendive, Dean (Bonnie) Feiock of Marbleton, Wyo., Allan (Camille) Feiock and Dale Feiock, both of Roundup. Sisters are Rose (Ronnie) Martin and Janet (Kip) VanDyke of Roundup, Sharon (Frank) Duncan of Macon, Ga., and Rita (Dennis) Hannum of Dickinson. Best friend Terry Boe of Lavina. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing for Robert will be at Wier Funeral Home in Roundup on Friday, Dec. 3, all day, and again on Saturday, Dec. 4, until 10 a.m. Funeral services will be on Monday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., at Wier Funeral Home in Roundup.
