FYOCK Jeffrey F., 66, Johnstown, died December 26, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 4, 1949, in Johnstown, son of Fay E. and Irene C. (Blank) Fyock. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, Anne M. (Roberts) Fyock, whom he married September 23, 1972; children, LCDR Scott Fyock, US Navy, Florida; and Melanie wife of John Ribarich, Johnstown; granddaughters, Regan and Kamryn Ribarich; and step grandson, Jacob Nemeth. Brother of Cynthia wife of Joseph Barkheimer, Ohio; Curtiss, Johnstown; Cheryl Reed, Harrisburg; and Gregory Heidingsfelder and wife, Ginger, Delaware. Also survived by brother-in-law, John Roberts and wife Mara, Eighty-Four, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Parish and Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate of Richland High School, Class of 1967, and the University of Pittsburgh in 1971. He was retired from Cambria County Conservation District, and he also worked for the environmental department at Bethlehem Steel Corp. and Benchmark Engineering. Jeff was a loving husband, father, and Pappy. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, gardening, hunting and fishing, riding motorcycles, astronomy, and was an avid Steeler and Pitt Panther fan. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters who gave him so much joy. Jeff fought a courageous battle with cancer and is an inspiration to us all. He was a man who had a wealth of information, and was our family’s voice of reason. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to special friends, Ron and Peggy Roth. By request, there will be no public viewing. Those who wish, may attend a funeral mass on Wednesday at 11am at St. Gregory Church, Daisytown, Father Robert L. Ruston, celebrant.
