Joseph A. Friedman, 69
Joseph A. ?Andy? Friedman, 69, Huntington, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana in Fort Wayne.
Born May 19, 1934 in Huntington to Joseph H. and Ethel I. Altman Friedman, he was married to Carol J. Rice on Aug. 8, 1970. She survives.
He worked as a journeyman pressman for 34 years at Noll Printing, retiring in 1995, and was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington, the Huntington Moose Lodge and Izaac Walton League.
Also surviving are three sons, Daniel A. and Darren A., both of North Manchester; Steve A. of Winter Park, Fl.; two daughters, Rose Beck of Andrews and Amanda Bodrie of Trenton, Mich.; a brother, George Friedman of Centralia, W. Va.; a sister, Ann Tuttle of Huntington, 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David A., and two grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Ron Rieder officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., at Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.
