Dear Recs,
In the mid 1990's I made a trip to Pleisweiler Germany to research my
grandmothers family. Their name is Krumm. I visited the town and learned
that the town records were stored in Bad Bergzabern. I then spent a day in
the municipal records office in Bad Bergzabern and made photocopies of as
many documents pertaining to the Krumm family as I could find. Attached
you will find the marriage record of Margaretha Krumholz from
Klingenmuenster, my great grandmother. I noticed that your web site lists
her parents and siblings, but that she is missing from this list. I would
like to contribute the following updates that you can verify from the
marriage certificate. Margaretha Krumholz, Born 29 Jan. 1858 in
Klingenmuenster. Parents Peter Krumholz and Anna Maria Leibrecht. Married
Jakob Krumm in Pleisweiler 6 Feb. 1885. Margaretha died 7 Nov. 1899 in
Pleisweiler. At present I can't locate the document to verify her death.
They had five children, Georg, Karoline, Katherina, Margaretha and Johann.
I have the birth certificates and other documents for all their children
that I can submit. I also have documents on other members of the Krumm
Family from Pleisweiler than I can send if you let me know what type of
verification you would need.
