Margaret Elena Wilson, 81, of Ohio Street, Marietta, died at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2007, in Middletown, Ohio.
She was born June 17, 1925, in Lower Salem to Estha L. Nieb Warren and Wilbert W. Warren Sr. She was a graduate of Nelsonville High School and Capital University in Columbus. She had worked as a teacher?s aide for the Marietta School System. Margaret was a member of St. Luke?s Episcopal Church in Marietta and had attended Church of the Ascension in Middletown. She was a member of P.E.O; AAUW; Society of Arts and Letters; Marietta Welfare League and the Arthritis Foundation.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Wilson (Robert M. II) of Middletown; her son, James. H. ?Chip? Wilson (Marilyn) of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Christian, James, Robert III and Margaret Wilson, Brandy Morgenstern and Nicholas Morgenstern (Lindsey); great-grandson, Braden Morgenstern; brother, Wilbert W. Warren Jr. (Sue) of Nelsonville; sister, Doris McEwen (James) of Toledo; aunt, Edna Gutheil of Marietta and several nephews, nieces and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James H. Wilson, on May 20, 1992; they were married Aug. 1, 1949.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke?s Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Fred Engdahl officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 4:30 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, 408 Front St.
